Each Mepilex dressing includes Safetac®, the original less-pain contact layer with silicone adhesion, allowing for easy removal without damaging the skin. This means less pain for patients during dressing changes. Safetac also seals wound margins to protect the skin from harmful leakage and maceration.

When to Use Mepilex
Mepilex is designed for a wide range of low- to medium-exuding wounds. You can customize Mepilex by cutting it to fit individual wounds or specific body locations, making it ideal for difficult-to-dress areas. It can also be used together with Tubifast™ fixation when additional support is needed.
How to Use Mepilex

Clean the wound thoroughly before applying the dressing.

The dressing should overlap the wound bed by at least 2 cm onto the surrounding skin.

When fixation is required, use Tubifast to secure the dressing in place.
